Todd Ablowitz is a respected industry leader with nearly 20 years of experience working with the payments industry’s top brands, as well as up-and-coming technology innovators. Ablowitz established Double Diamond Group in 2008, and he has a unique blend of experience, connections and know-how to help clients solve their most critical business challenges.
During his career, Todd has developed strategies based on trends and market demands, created and launched new products, and built and led successful sales organizations.
Prior to establishing Double Diamond Group, Todd was Senior Vice President of Sales for ViVOtech, Inc., a leading contactless and mobile payments company of the time, where he successfully built and led its sales team and facilitated the acceptance of new technology to the world’s top retail brands. Ablowitz gained deep industry knowledge and leadership experience during his 10 years with First Data Corp. Throughout his First Data career, he and his teams repeatedly conceived and executed programs that generated millions of dollars of incremental revenue and profit.
Investors, media, analysts and industry watchers frequently rely on Todd for expert advice, trend insights and consulting. He presents at numerous industry events and investor conferences where he is viewed as an authority on payment technology, mobile payments and emerging payments trends. He also, is quoted extensively as an expert in industry trade and consumer publications.
His leadership is exemplified by service to the industry. He is a member of the Electronic Transactions Association (ETA), where he served on the board from 2008 to 2012. In 2010, Todd received the industry’s highest individual honor, ETA Member of the Year.
Todd holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and a certificate in negotiation from the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School.

Deana Rich. Partner, Aggregation and Frictionless Boarding
Deana Rich is a leading expert within the payments acquiring industry and is highly respected for her unparalleled risk management, underwriting, operations and compliance experience. She is an original board member, past President and currently Vice President of the Merchant Acquirers Committee (MAC) where she is instrumental in driving organizational focus. She also is recognized as an industry leader that is influential in shaping industry guidance on matters of risk and fraud management through her roles and work with the Electronic Transactions Association (ETA), and she is among the select few who are approved by Visa and MasterCard to perform bank and ISO reviews.
She has successfully developed and implemented risk management and underwriting programs for acquirers, ISOs, merchant aggregators and software as a service developers, including writing policies and procedures, providing staff training support and overseeing implementation of risk monitoring, underwriting and card scheme compliance. Deana also is frequently engaged to review established risk and operational departments and policies for vulnerabilities and improvement.
As President of Rich Consulting, she is known for her compelling insight, deep card brand knowledge, industry relationships and more than 20 years of acquiring experience. Deana’s leadership is exemplified by her service to the industry. She was honored as ETA Member of the Year in 2013. She also is Chair of the ETA Fraud and Risk Committee where she was recognized for her service in 2011 as ETA Volunteer of the Year, and she serves on the ETA Government Relations and Mobile Payments Committees. Deana holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Rick Oglesby. Partner, Head of Research, Product and Go-To-Market Consulting
Heading up the Double Diamond Payments Research division is Rick Oglesby, a respected industry veteran and research professional with more than 20 years of industry knowledge and solid research methodology experience. He specializes in merchant acquiring, new product development, product management, and emerging payments strategies.
Rick is a recognized thought leader in the acquiring and mobile payments spaces. He is respected as an industry expert that has presented at numerous events, including Money 2020, ETA, Mobile Contactless Innovations, EPCOR, and TAG Fintech.
He is quoted in top tier media outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, Reuters, Bloomberg, and CNN Money. He also has contributed to articles in payments trade publications such as Digital Transactions, ISO and Agent, The Green Sheet, and American Banker.
Rick began his career as an underwriter with Chase. Subsequently, he had a 10-year stint with American Express, starting in Latin American Fraud Operations, followed by commercial card portfolio management in Europe. He managed new product development for commercial cards in Asia, product distribution strategy in Europe, and data mining strategies for portfolio growth within American Express Financial Advisors.
After American Express, Rick spent five years with TSYS Acquiring Solutions in new product development, product management, and mergers and acquisitions roles. Prior to joining DDPR, Rick covered emerging payments and other payment acceptance technology and business matters as a Senior Analyst with Aite Group.
Rick graduated with Honors from Lafayette College in Easton PA, and he holds a master’s degree in international management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
Lori Breitzke. Partner, Prepaid Lead
Heading up the Double Diamond Prepaid division is Lori Breitzke. Lori’s commitment to “Perfecting Payments” has led her and her associates to be regarded as leading experts in the prepaid, mobile, virtual payment issues, retailing and POS industry sectors.
During her extensive career, Lori has developed pioneering payment programs and solutions that have raised the standard for payments innovation. Focus areas of expertise include: fraud management, establishing a prepaid program for financial institutions and retailers, and capitalizing on revenue opportunities with new prepaid services such as eGifting, employer payroll programs and mobile prepaid services.
Known as an expert speaker in anti-fraud, prepaid, mobile, virtual and payments issues, Lori is a co-founder and co-chairman of the Prepaid Financial Crimes Task Force of the National Branded Prepaid Card Association (NBPCA). She is also a member of the ETA Technology Committee and a previous Chair of the Education Committee of the ETA.
Lori draws on over 25 years’ experience in the prepaid and card payments industry with issuers, payment processors and POS providers. She developed her prepaid, merchant acquiring and point-of-sale expertise working with such companies as WorldPay, VeriFone, First Data and Ingenico.
